Dear Participant:

The content of this online educational toolkit is presented in modules, with the intent to aid Native and non-Native communities in creating a successful HIV/AIDS prevention and intervention program. It asks participants to think about core cultural values, community involvement, effective prevention messages, addressing social and structural issues, advancing HIV prevention in your community, evidence-based interventions that could be adapted for Native communities, and using qualitative methods such as storytelling as a prevention strategy. This is an educational and interactive tool that allows professionals to try out ideas, reflect, and apply critical judgment to the topics being studied. There are currently four modules in this online educational toolkit. Each module aims to educate, inform and ultimately increase knowledge, change attitudes and behavior about HIV/AIDS, and test the skills of each participant. This evaluation is for Module 4, which focuses on the foundation of a prevention program for Native people.
